Eastern Oncology is a collaborative group of medical oncologists providing comprehensive clinical cancer services. With the increasing complexity in cancer treatments we believe the "one-size fits all" approach no longer applies. As a group, we believe in personalised, evidence-based care of all oncological conditions.
We offer expert care across a broad range of malignancies, with each doctor working within their own subspecialty area of expertise.
Our physicians have a sound knowledge of cancer treatment and actively participate in clinical research. Eastern Oncology clinicians have appointments at Eastern Health. They have excellent working relationships with specialist surgeons and radiation oncologists facilitating seamless referral and multidisciplinary care. Being located at Epworth Eastern provides patients with nearby comprehensive cancer services, including inpatient and outpatient chemotherapy, radiotherapy, palliative care, pathology, intensive care, diagnostic and interventional radiology, PET scanning and MRI.
