Consultation fees

Please contact our reception to discuss initial and follow-up fees.

Please note, most of our doctors only see patients with a valid medicare card and private health insurance. Medicare rebates are available IF you are eligible AND have a valid doctor's referral letter.

Accounts are paid on the day of the appointment. Medicare rebate can be claimed at the time of payment.

Specialist referrals are valid for 3 months. We accept indefinite referrals from GPs.

No gap - Insured patients admitted to Epworth Eastern - fee is charged to insurance company with no out of pocket medical oncology consulting fees.

Please bring to your appointment a list of your current medications and results of any tests you have had.

If you are new to Eastern Oncology, please also bring your referral letter and a completed registration form (see below). If you are unable to complete the registration form in advance please allow time to complete this at reception prior to your scheduled appointment time.
